Bunker Calls

We understand that our clients’ vessels trade throughout the world and have tight schedules and turnaround times to meet, so at Taqaddum Nautical Services we ensure that all bunker calls we are appointed for, occurs without any hiccups or delays in operations.We provide bunkering agency services for bunkering at the Port of Port Elizabeth, the Port of Ngqura (Coega) and Port Elizabeth Anchorage (Algoa Bay).

Our bunkering agency services entails:

  • Communication with Master of vessel to arrange all necessary Pre-Arrival documentation required by Port Authorities.
  • Liaising with Port Authorities to ensure vessel is cleared prior to arrival.
  • Daily updates: Bunkering Schedule, Weather Reports, notification of any possible delays expected ahead of time.
  • Arrival Reports upon vessel’s arrival
  • Updates in real-time on progress of bunkering operations
  • Departure Reports upon vessel’s departure

Crew Changes

Our well co-ordinating skills and planning ensures that all crew members are always safe and comfortable during a crew change.We provide our Crew Change services at the Port of Port Elizabeth, the Port of Ngqura (Coega) and at Port Elizabeth Anchorage (Algoa Bay).

  • OKTBs (OK to board) and LOGs (Letter of Guarantee)
  • Processing at Immigration office
  • Meet and Greet services
  • Transport services for Collection and Drop-off

  • Launch boat service if crew change is conducted at Anchorage

Launch Services

Your vessel doesn’t have the time to delay by calling into port but your vessel requires husbandry services? No problem. Taqaddum Nautical Services has got you covered with our swift OPL services.

Cut out the delays and unnecessary port costs and have your vessel serviced at anchorage. Crew Changes, Delivery of provisions & stores, and / or Delivery of Ship Spares can all be arranged with a launch boat to meet vessel at Anchorage.

Clearing & Forwarding

We offer clearing and forwarding for all Ship Spares needed onboard your vessel as well as all faulty or incorrect Ship Spares that needs to be returned to supplier.

Our Clearing and Forwarding services entails:

  • Liaising with Customs and arranging the clearing of Ship Spares
  • Receiving of Ship Spares upon its arrival
  • Storage of Ship Spares if required
  • Delivery of Ship Spares to vessel in port or via a Launch service boat to vessel at Anchorage

CTM (Cash to Master)

With Taqaddum Nautical Services, we ensure that any payments to your Master and crew are always handled professionally with the aid of security services. You can rest assured that your funds are safe in our care.

Our CTM services entails:

  • Bank notes of your requested denominations are supplied
  • Safe delivery of funds with trusted security services to vessel in port or at Anchorage via a Launch service boat

Port Agents

To ensure your vessel’s smooth turnaround time for in-port operations, appoint us as your Port Agent. With our ongoing experience and expertise of port calls and our well-established presence with Port Authorities, we can provide our clients with outstanding port call services.

Our Port Agency services entails:

  • Pre-Arrival planning and securing of a suitable berth prior to vessels arrival
  • Arranging of Pilot onboard for vessel’s entry into port
  • Attending vessel
  • Providing updates of vessel’s arrival, berthing, and departure
  • Liaising with Immigration and Customs for relevant clearances
  • Providing a Port Clearance
  • Providing Husbandry services if required
